Utility focused Venios Energy Platform (VEP) is a cloud based solution with massive parallel processing power and models load profiles to predict grid behavior. The solution creates a “digital twin” of the low voltage network based on various data sources like GIS, asset management, power meters, smart meters, meteorological and any other third party sources. The platform models the load profile of the grid assets and consumers, combines it with the data coming from the field from various sources, to continuously calculate and display the energy flow in the system in real-time. The same platform allows a simulation tool which can carry out "what-if" scenario analysis to help assess impact of new loads and consumers in the existing network.
